Sculptural Modular Furniture Inspired by Persian Geometry
The Voxel Collection is a sculptural exploration of geometry, modularity, and pattern, bridging traditional craft and contemporary furniture design. Comprising Oris (chairs) and Sahm (carpets), the collection transforms everyday objects into three-dimensional sculptural furniture pieces inspired by origami folding techniques and the rich geometric heritage of Persian and Islamic architecture.
Rooted in the belief that design can be both tactile and cerebral, each fold, line, and tessellation invites interaction and discovery, engaging the user in a visual and spatial dialogue. While each piece stands as an autonomous sculptural object, it also functions as a modular unit capable of forming part of a more extensive architectural furniture system.
Balancing tradition and innovation, the collection reflects the precision of origami while paying homage to muqarnas, mosaic patterns, and Islamic geometric motifs. This synthesis results in functional yet expressive furniture, grounding contemporary forms in cultural narrative and design identity.
