Where Architecture Meets Innovation
About
Nia Studio
Nia Studio explores the intersection of architecture, innovation, and digital experimentation — crafting environments that blend creativity, intelligence, and human experience.
About Nia Studio
Nia Studio Design and Architects is an innovative architecture and design practice founded by Hoda Eskandarnia, an award-winning architect and interdisciplinary designer. The studio operates at the intersection of architecture, art, and technology , exploring how design can enhance emotional, cognitive, and sensory experience.
With experience spanning residential, commercial, and office projects, Nia Studio offers comprehensive services in architecture, interior design, construction, and concept development. The practice integrates artificial intelligence into its creative process and actively develops immersive architectural environments for extended reality (XR) applications — pushing the boundaries between the physical and digital realms.
Structured around four interconnected divisions — the Architecture Studio, Innovative Lab, AI Studio, and Immersive Lab — Nia Studio unites design, research, and experimentation to shape the future of spatial experience.
Recognised by the Master Architecture Awards for design excellence, the studio remains guided by a vision of architecture as a catalyst for transformation, bridging design, science, and technology to craft environments that inspire, elevate, and connect.
About Hoda Eskandarnia
Hoda Eskandarnia is an architect, interdisciplinary designer, and the founder of Nia Studio: Design and Architects, an innovative practice based in Iran. She earned her Master’s degree with distinction in Architectural Design from The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, where she received the B-Pro Gold Prize for Design Excellence.
Her work explores the intersection of geometry, culture, and technology, inspired by Persian architectural patterns and sensory experience. Hoda’s projects have been exhibited internationally, including at Biofabricate (New York), TAB–BioTallinn Architecture Biennale (Estonia), and The Royal Society (London).
Through her practice, Nia Studio, she received an Honourable Mention at the Master Architecture Awards for design innovation. Hoda has also published her research with Springer and presented at the Human–Computer Interaction (HCI) International Conference in Denmark, as well as earning First Prize at the IEEE UK & Ireland Robotics and Automation Society Conference in London.
Her professional focus bridges design, science, and technology, advocating for a future where creativity and research seamlessly integrate to inspire and empower human experience.
As an educator, she leads international workshops on computational design thinking, bottom-up and top-down design methodologies, and emergent systems in architecture.
Hoda continues to advance research-driven explorations combining AI, neuroscience, and immersive environments, expanding the role of architecture in shaping cognitive and emotional well-being. Her work aims to bridge the physical and digital worlds, creating spaces that inspire, heal, and engage the senses.
Design that inspires. Spaces that enhance life and work.
From concept to reality — let’s create something extraordinary, together.
